Gary Road Intermediate School is proud to announce Mrs. Willieetta Brown as our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Brown works tirelessly to meet the needs of her exceptional education populations and support their parents & guardians in making the best decisions for their educational needs. Additionally, Mrs. Brown leads the exceptional education department at GRI and provides a beautiful smile and humor that enhances the morale and community of our building.
Gary Road Intermediate School held its annual school-wide reading fair this week. GRI would like to thank the city of Byram officials and GRI elective teachers who helped judge the competition. Byram city officials that assisted included Alderman Erma Johnson, Alderman Robert Amos, Alderman Diandre Hosey, Alderman Roschelle Gibson, and Mayor Richard White.
