My name is Ashley White, and I am honored to be the Lead Principal at Gary Road Intermediate School, where a genuine love for children, high expectations, and character building are a priority. With nineteen years of experience in Hinds County School District, nine of which were spent teaching at GRI, it is a pleasure to serve our learning community and contribute to a successful school year in my current role.
Gary Road Intermediate School provides a safe, nurturing, child-centered environment in which our children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our students are always encouraged to do their best and to represent the "JB Way." Staff members are dedicated and committed to the success of every child. Our parents/guardians and volunteers, through their continued involvement, help provide the support and interaction that contributes to a wonderful partnership between home and school, benefiting the children of Gary Road Intermediate School.
